Ronnette Riley

Ronnette Riley is principal of her eponymous firm established in 1987. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, she spent eight years at the office of Phillip Johnson and John Burgee Architects. She served as Project Architect for the iconic Lipstick Building in Manhattan, the Bank of America Center in Houston, 33 Maiden Lane in Manhattan and worked on projects at Johnson’s Glass House estate.

Ronnette is grounded in a tradition of design excellence. Under Ronnette’s leadership, the firm’s success is built on translating our client’s goals into elegant and effective design solutions. Her firm has completed over 900 projects, including those for schools and universities, healthcare facilities, offices, cultural institutions, public safety facilities, single and multi-family housing, social service centers, parks, bridges and maintenance facilities. 

Ronnette received degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She is licensed in several states, is a LEED Accredited Professional and NCARB and NCIDQ certified

Ronnette is an active and influential member of the professional design community. She is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, the Society for American Registered Architects and the Urban Design Forum. She is an active member and a former chair of the National AIA Committee on Design and former member of the Retail and Entertainment Knowledge Community Advisory Group. Ronnette is Vice President of the Society of American Registered Architects and a Board Member of the 100 Club. She is President of the East Hampton Artists & Writers Charity Softball Game, actively raising money for local life service charities for over 30 years. She has lectured extensively on the work of the firm and has served on numerous design award juries. Ronnette was formerly an Adjunct Professor at the School of Visual Arts and the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.
